PREFERRED METHOD

Bao

STOVE TOP STEAM BAO

  1. Remove bao from plastic. 
  2. In a large pot or pan, boil 2-3 inches of water. 
  3. Place frozen bao (do not remove paper) in a steamer basket above boiling water. Bao should be 1 inch apart and should not make direct contact with water. Cover and steam for 10 minutes. 
  4. Remove steamer basket from heat and allow bao to cool slightly. 
  5. Remove bao paper and enjoy!

CHEF RECOMMENDs: ONE BAO AT A TIME

SAVORY BAO

MICROWAVE BAO

  1. Remove bao from plastic. 
  2. Place frozen bao (do not remove paper) on microwave-safe plate and cover with damp paper towel.
  3. For best results, microwave individually. Microwave 50 seconds for 1 bao, 1 minute 20 seconds for 2 bao.
  4. Carefully remove from microwave and allow bao to cool slightly.
  5. Remove bao paper and enjoy!

MICROWAVE BAO

  1. Remove bao from plastic. 
  2. Place frozen bao (do not remove paper) on microwave-safe plate and cover with damp paper towel. 
  3. For best results, microwave individually. Microwave 30 seconds for 1 bao, 1 minute 10 seconds for 2 bao. 
  4. Carefully remove from microwave and allow bao to cool slightly. 
  5. Remove bao paper and enjoy!

PAN SEARED POTSTICKERS

  1. Heat a frying pan over high heat. 
  2. Add oil to coat bottom, add potstickers and cook for 1 minute. 
  3. Reduce heat, add 1/2 cup of water into the pan. Loosely cover, turn to medium heat and cook until water is evaporated, about 5-7 minutes.
  4.  Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly before serving.

QUICK & CONVENIENT method

POTSTICKERS

AIR FRIED POTSTICKERS

  1. Preheat air fryer to 395ºF. 
  2. Place 6 frozen potstickers in basket, and cook for 6 minutes at 395ºF. 
  3. Remove and allow to cool slightly before serving.

TRADITIONAL METHOD

STEAMED DUMPLINGS

  1. In a large pot or pan, boil 2-3 inches of water. 
  2. Place frozen dumplings on a steamer basket above boiling water. Leave space between dumplings. 
  3. Cover and steam for 4 to 5 minutes.
  4. Remove basket from heat and allow to cool slightly before serving.

FASTEST METHOD

POTSTICKERS | DUMPLINGS

MICROWAVE DUMPLINGS

  1. Place 4 frozen dumplings on microwave-safe place and cover with damp paper towel.
  2. Microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
  3. Carefully remove and allow to cool slightly before serving.

  1. Cut one corner of outer wrapper to allow steam to vent. 
  2. Place tray into microwave and cook for 2 minutes. 
  3. Carefully remove and allow to cool slightly before enjoying.
