BAO FAQ
How do I eat bao?
Bao is the perfect portable snack or meal! Once prepared, simply peel off the paper and savor every bite. With so much flavor packed inside Wow Bao’s signature bao, it is the perfect on-the-go solution to feed any need.
Do I dip my bao in sauces?
Because our flavors speak for themselves, we are purists at Wow Bao. But we know some of our fans love a good sauce and we would never discourage creativity – especially in the kitchen. So, if you’ve got a favorite bao/sauce combo in mind, give it a try!
Is this the same thing as a dumpling?
A bao is one type of Asian dumpling. Also known as dim sum, bao are round, purse-shaped dumplings, while potstickers are crescent-shaped dumplings. Lucky for you, Wow Bao also offers Ginger Chicken Potstickers, Chicken Soup Dumplings, and Pork Soup Dumplings as part of their product line. A bao is one type of Asian dumpling. What is a Bao?
Bao can be traced back as far as 400 BC as a staple of Chinese cuisine. For centuries the soft, fluffy dough filled with savory or sweet flavors has varied from region to region, but the ease and deliciousness of the traditional Asian food has remained. In 2003 Wow Bao was born and we’ve spent the last 20 years putting the Wow in Bao.
